FLU VACCINATION CLINIC
People eligible for free government supplied seasonal influenza vaccine are:
Annual seasonal influenza vaccine is strongly recommended and free for people who are at high risk of a poor outcome after influenza infection. People who should receive free seasonal influenza vaccine are:
- 65 years of age and over
- Pregnant women
- Indigenous people 15 years of age and over
- Residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities
- Any person six months of age and over with a condition predisposing to severe influenza illness that requires regular medical follow-up or hospitalisation such as: cardiac disease; chronic respiratory disease; kidney disease, diabetes, impaired immunity and chronic neuromuscular disease.
