Living on the family property in Williams 180kms South of Perth has been the ideal environment for me to create unusual sculptures using found, or as I think of them, retired pieces of old farm machinery.

I rarely manufacture shapes, preferring to find inspiration from existing shapes and then putting all the pieces together, never really knowing what I will end up with until the end. All of my sculptures are unique I can never repeat them exactly as the found objects are always different.

Quite often people ask me to create something for them from a special piece of old machinery from their farm, I enjoy this challenge as there is usually a story behind the pieces.

 

 

Another passion of mine is working with stained glass, I love being able to create wall hangings using this beautiful medium with mosaic  I also incorporate the stained glass mosaic with the sculptures to create unusual bird baths
